In the past nine years of the club's exsitence we have taken over  4000 medals in the combined tournaments of local, provincial, national and international arena's. I Sensei Shaun Kapp started karate in 1993 at the age of seven under my instructor Sensei Ben De Swardt. I stopped karate for six years as a jnr black belt in 1998 due to death in the family, I started again 2003 as a jnr black belt still under the instruction of Sensei Ben De Swardt. I opened my own Dojo in October 2004 ( Myself and my Dojo ) are still going and growing strong. I'm a 3rd Dan Blackbelt and I'll be attending my 4th Dan Black Belt in October 2013.  Since the existence of the club, eight of my students attended their 1st Dan Black Belt Gradings & seven passed succesfully
